A business application built around your operations.
Tracking deliveries, comparing files or coordinating people around shared data? e-neuf designs custom business applications around your workflows, rules and existing tools.
Let’s discuss itWhen is custom software useful?
When files circulate between people, information is entered repeatedly or access rights become difficult to manage, it helps to review the whole process. Custom development is one option when existing solutions do not meet the priorities. A smaller adjustment may also be sufficient.
What we define together
The work starts with users, data and operations: importing, searching, tracking, validating or reviewing history. The scope describes screens, permissions, connections to other tools and acceptance criteria. Documentation and installation requirements are also part of the discussion.
Build around a real workflow
We choose a representative workflow and cases that could cause it to fail: an incomplete file, a duplicate, an amendment or a user without the required access. Work is reviewed in stages against the need. Decisions and technical constraints remain explicit.
What determines the budget
Screen count alone does not determine the cost. Business rules, the quality of existing data, integrations, roles and the hosting environment also matter. The quotation describes the agreed scope and deliverables; operation and future changes need to be addressed for each project.
Questions before starting
Do we have to stop using Excel?
Not necessarily. Files can remain an exchange format or an import source. The first step is to identify operations that need to be made more reliable and tools users need to keep.
Can the application work with local data?
That option depends on users, workstations, backups and required exchanges. Suivi documents an approach using a local application and database server.
Do we need a specification first?
You can start with your files, examples and current difficulties. The first task is to clarify workflows and define a scope that can be verified.
